South Carolina has become known for producing WNBA talent under Staley’s leadership, further cementing her legacy of excellence. In addition to her players’ success, the Gamecocks had another standout season, finishing 35-4 and claiming the SEC Championship. However, they fell short in the 2025 national championship game, losing 82-59 to the UConn Huskies, preventing a back-to-back title run after their 2024 victory.

Looking ahead, Staley will continue building her program for the future, confident that her players will keep thriving at the next level.
