In a bold and unprecedented move that could transform the future of women’s college basketball, South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley has launched a first-of-its-kind NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) collective — created specifically for her women’s basketball players.
The new initiative, titled “HoopHer Legacy,” aims to provide six-figure earning opportunities for every scholarship player on the Gamecocks’ roster, combining local partnerships, national brands, and mentorship programs curated by Staley herself.
“We built a winning culture. Now we’re building generational wealth,” Staley said. “My players will leave here with rings and resumes. If we win together, we eat together.”
