Wilson and the Steelers will prepare for their Christmas Day game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday.

This week, the nine-time Pro Bowler spoke to reporters and seemed to share his desire to play in the NFL longer, saying, “Hopefully [I] get to win a Super Bowl.”

Wilson has been playing on a one-year, $1.2 million deal and has improved mightily in Pittsburgh following a disappointing stint with the Denver Broncos.

His latest comments come after an interview with ESPN’s Hannah Storm last month, expressing his intention to continue playing in the league.R

“I definitely want to play another five to seven years. … I think that’s always been my mindset, is the longevity of the game,” Wilson said.

“I feel great, I feel young, I feel like I can still move around out there and make all the decisions and all the throws.”

Wilson and the Steelers are coming off a 34-17 road loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 16 which came after a 27-13 road defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pittsburgh will now have to play the reigning Super Bowl champion 14-1 Chiefs on a short week.
