Surely, you have one of those friends who are just a bit too positive for you to handle? Yes, that’s what McDede is to Korda. So much so that the golfer has jokingly admitted that she wants to “punch him” when she’s having a bad day. “He’s such a positive person that sometimes I’m like, ‘Gosh, you’re so positive. I want to punch you.’ As golfers, no one’s ever positive all the time”, she said, previously.
But does that mean the golfer is not thankful for her caddie? No, not at all! Korda recently posted a photo of her shaking hands with McDede on her Instagram story as a birthday tribute and the best part was the caption. Korda started by thanking McDede for always being there for her and wrote an eight-word message saying “Man that wears many hats in my life”. This just shows how much the duo means to each other. “Here’s to making more “bets” on the golf course @jasonmedede HAVE THE BEST DAY”, the caption continued.
Korda is not the only one on Team USA who is close with McDede. Recently, an instance of Meghan Khang taking a lighthearted jab at Korda’s caddie was also seen on Instagram.

The whole Team USA seems to be close with Nelly Korda’s caddie, Jason McDede. Their friendship was on full display in Korda’s recent Instagram post where the World No. 1 golfer shared a lighthearted video and photos, showcasing what she likes to keep with herself when she travels. All products were sponsored by Tumi, who has been Korda’s partner for quite some time, “It’s been planes, trains, and automobiles lately with all the travel! Love having @tumitravel as my partner to make it so much easier,” she captioned the video.
Fans could see Korda riding a suitcase near a line of luggage carts, with McDede making a humorous appearance in the background of the video. Megan Khang who played with Korda on the 2024 Solheim Cup squad and helped Team USA emerge victorious, couldn’t resist poking fun at McDede’s outfit. “Jason (McDede) with the iconic jorts”, Khang said referencing McDede’s denim shorts. Lauren Coughlin who was another Team USA member during the Solheim Cup also chimed in the conversation and commented “The video, LOL”, taking a jab at Korda’s caddie.
