After Disappointment, ‘Queen’ Nelly Korda Dials In With Her New Love Leaving Fans Baffled

Nelly Korda’s first regular event after lifting the Solheim Cup was the Kroger Queen City Championship. With much zeal, the 14-time LPGA Tour winner was on her way to winning another event this season, however, Lydia Ko surged past her for the title and Korda had to settle for another top five as she finished tied for fifth with 14 under 274. A victory would have made the 26-year-old’s season greater than it already has been, but she had to face disappointment.

Nonetheless, the Bradenton native had moved past her performance and been enjoying her time off the course. Korda’s latest adventure was off to the Kohler in Wisconsin. The first stop was at The American Club, which hosts the Whistling Straits and the Blackwolf Run. But Korda did not run off from one course to another. She instead headed to the spa, calling it the “best spa” she had been to in recent days. And then the 26-year-old went to enjoy a shooting range.

The 2-time major winner posted it on her Instagram story, which was later shared on X by Nelly Legion. Korda could be seen shooting targets with an A2 rifle. But the fun did not stop there. The LPGA Tour star went to see the wildlife and also enjoyed her time at the fireplace. Another stop for Korda in Wisconsin was at Lambeau Field in Greenbay. She watched the Green Bay Packers duking out against the Minnesota Vikings, which they ultimately lost 29-31. but it was a “10/10 experience” for the golfer.

Regardless, the golf world was joyous to see Korda utilizing her time in the best way even after she didn’t finish on the top at the Kroger Queen City Championship and they appreciated her a ton.

What Nelly Korda cannot do? This year had been, arguably, the best she had had in her career. Korda was capable of winning the Chevron Championship and five other LPGA Tour events and how can the Solheim Cup victory be forgotten? Needless to say, it impressed most golf enthusiasts, but now her shooting effortlessly also made many praise her more than before for the various talents she possesses. One fan admiringly called her, “Queen.” Meanwhile, another user complimented her and said, “2A Nelly is the best Nelly.”

While many were excited to see Korda doing something other than golf, one user took this opportunity to rub the Green Bay Packers loss in Korda’s face. The 26-year-old’s brother, Sebastian Korda, is a Minnesota fan but Korda seems to support the Packers as seen in her stories. Hence, this fan commented, “My Vikings are doing good well this year” as the Vikings have won all four games so far.

Although her shots were not a bull’s eye, even then, Korda managed to shoot most of them around the body of the two standing targets. Stunned by her shooting skills, one golf enthusiast commented, “Whoa Nelly!” Another also praised Korda and said, “Sweet.”Korda would probably spend this week off the course as well and then next tee up at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea. Till then, fans will get to see the LPGA star’s outside adventures and admire her more.
