According to the CBS broadcast, USC Trojans wide receiver Makai Lemon appeared to have suffered a head injury in the first quarter versus the Michigan Wolverines, necessitating an ambulance ride to the University of Michigan hospital. Lemon took a hard hit while playing punt coverage, which resulted in injuries. He seemed shook up, but he was able to leave the field.

Lemon was examined by medical professionals under the sideline tent, and then he was brought to the locker room. In the Trojans’ first two games, sophomore Lemon has four receptions for 45 yards and one touchdown.

Lemon was a wide receiver and cornerback in the previous season. He had six receptions for 88 yards (14.7 avg.) on offense, including a 40-yard gain. He also captured one tackle on tape.

Will the Wolverines (2-1) lose to No. 11 USC (2-0) in a game that features two of the most illustrious college football teams? The Trojans, led by quarterback Miller Moss and coach Lincoln Riley, have an opportunity to establish themselves as a Big Ten league challenger and a club on the rise in the College Football Playoffs.

With two hours to go before kickoff, all Big Ten teams are obliged to file an official injury report, and going into their matchup against the defending National Champion Wolverines, the Trojans are relatively healthy.

What’s the most recent on Mason Cobb, a linebacker for USC, and Jaylin Smith, a cornerback? Neither player appeared in USC’s lopsided 48-0 victory over Utah State. How about Colston Loveland, the tight end from Michigan who injured his left arm?

With an arm injury, Loveland had to leave Michigan’s victory versus Arkansas State early. A devastating loss for Michigan because Loveland leads all college football tight ends with 19 receptions and 187 yards, in addition to leading the team in that category.

Coach Steve Casula of the tight ends said of Loveland, “Everyone in our program that’s not dealing with a season-ending injury or an upper-body, head injury of some sort, they practice every day.” Depending on the player, this could mean different things for each one of them, regardless of whether they’re injured. However, any member of our team who isn’t sidelined for the entire season or perhaps recovering from a concussion or similar injury practices every day.

“Inside Michigan Football,” Michigan coach Sherrone Moore stated that the injury is “less serious” than initially believed.

In front of a boisterous 100,000 spectators in “The Big House,” will Moore and Michigan regain their momentum against a USC squad that is on the rise?

The Wolverines’ difficult assignment is to stop Moss and his offensive weaponry. With wins over the LSU Tigers and Louisville Cardinals in the top 25, the USC quarterback is off to a 3-0 start in his career. Since both of those matches were neutral site matches, this is officially Moss’s first road start.

Moss stated, “Whenever you go on the road, there’s going to be an emphasis on communication and offense operation.” “That’s the inevitable consequence of entering a hostile environment.”

Having played against LSU in front of a sellout crowd at Allegiant Stadium to begin the season, Moss has experience doing so.

Moss stated, “I felt we did a good job operating in the LSU game for the most part.” It got very loud when we messed up the reverse on that one series and were backed up. We simply want to continue over the things we did well, which I believe we did a fantastic job operating for the most part.
