The Missouri Tigers have secured a major addition to their 2026 recruiting class with the commitment of four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar, one of the top signal-callers in the nation.
Sidwar, a standout at La Salle College High School in Warrington, Pennsylvania, announced his commitment on Friday via social media. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 190 pounds, he is ranked as the No. 23 quarterback nationally and the No. 9 overall prospect in Pennsylvania for the 2026 cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The highly-touted recruit chose Missouri over a competitive list of offers that included Ole Miss, Duke, Maryland, Syracuse, and UCLA.

With Sidwar’s pledge, Missouri now holds three hard commitments in its 2026 class. Sidwar becomes the highest-rated prospect in the group and a key foundational piece for head coach Eli Drinkwitz as the Tigers build for the future.
Drinkwitz has enjoyed recent success on the recruiting trail, landing back-to-back top-20 high school recruiting classes in 2024 and 2025. He’s also proven effective in the transfer portal, assembling top-15 portal classes in consecutive years — including a No. 6 overall portal class for 2025, per 247Sports.
Sidwar’s commitment further reinforces Missouri’s momentum and marks another major win for a staff looking to maintain its presence on the national recruiting stage.
