The Kentucky Wildcats have officially added another key piece to their rapidly improving roster, landing a commitment from Cincinnati transfer Dan Skillings Jr. as head coach Mark Pope continues to reload for his first season at the helm.
Skillings, a 6-foot-6 guard from Blackwood, New Jersey, brings a blend of length, athleticism, and three years of college experience to a team that’s quickly becoming one of the most talked-about in the transfer portal.
He averaged 9.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game as a junior for the Bearcats, while shooting 44% from the field. Though his 3-point shot (29.9%) is still developing, his versatility and size on the wing should provide Pope with valuable depth and flexibility.

The former top-100 recruit now joins a stacked list of additions that already includes Tulane’s Kam Williams, Pitt’s Jaland Lowe, Alabama’s Mouhamed Dioubate, Arizona State’s Jayden Quaintance, and five-star freshman Jasper Johnson.
With the addition of Skillings, Kentucky continues its push to assemble one of the most complete and dynamic rosters in the country ahead of the 2025-26 season.
