In a glowing tribute to Colorado Avalanche star Nathan MacKinnon, NHL legend Wayne Gretzky named him among the top three most talented players of this generation.
During a TV broadcast of the Blackhawks-Capitals game, where Alex Ovechkin tied Gretzky’s all-time goal-scoring record, the Great One didn’t hold back, praising MacKinnon, Connor McDavid, and Auston Matthews as the next wave of hockey legends.
With just a handful of games left in the season, MacKinnon is making a serious run for the coveted Hart Trophy and is leading the charge for his first-ever Art Ross Trophy.

As he pushes for more career milestones, could MacKinnon cap off a career year with a Stanley Cup? The race is on!
