Oklahoma State has secured a massive commitment for its 2026 recruiting class, landing four-star running back Kaydin “KD” Jones from Jenks High School. The highly sought-after recruit, son of former Oklahoma Sooners running back Kejuan Jones, chose the Cowboys over a competitive list of programs, including Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisville, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee.
Jones showcased his elite talent in his junior season, rushing for 1,476 yards and 17 touchdowns on 229 carries, while also proving to be a reliable pass-catcher with 24 receptions for 256 yards and four touchdowns. His performance helped Jenks reach the Class 6A-I state semifinals, solidifying his reputation as one of the top running backs in the nation.

Oklahoma State’s coaching staff worked tirelessly to secure Jones, making him a priority recruit and maintaining strong communication through visits and social media engagement. Their persistence paid off, as Jones announced his commitment, bolstering OSU’s 2026 recruiting class, which now ranks No. 30 nationally and No. 6 in the Big 12.
“I felt at home with the Cowboys,” Jones said following his decision. “The coaching staff believes in me, and I’m ready to be a part of something special in Stillwater.”
Jones is expected to be a game-changer for Oklahoma State’s offense in the coming years, bringing speed, power, and versatility to the backfield. With his commitment, the Cowboys continue to build a strong foundation for the future, aiming to compete at the highest level in the Big 12 and beyond.
