A Huge Boost for Tennessee’s Backcourt

Atwell averaged 13.3 points per game last season while shooting an impressive 40% from three-point range and 91% from the free-throw line. His ability to space the floor and knock down shots at a high clip makes him a perfect fit for Tennessee’s system, especially with the team looking to replace key departures in the backcourt.

Atwell’s Statement on His Commitment

Speaking about his decision, Atwell expressed excitement about joining the Vols:

“Tennessee’s style of play and coaching staff made this an easy choice. I’m ready to work and contribute to something special here.”

What’s Next for the Vols?

With Atwell officially on board, Tennessee’s coaching staff continues to explore additional transfers to strengthen the roster for a deep postseason run. The Vols are reportedly still pursuing talent from Loyola Marymount and other programs to add depth across multiple positions.

Vols fans can now look forward to seeing Atwell in action, as Tennessee gears up for a highly anticipated season.
