LeBron James Makes Exciting Announcement After Missing 7th Straight Lakers Game

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James isn’t just one of the greatest athletes of all time—he’s also a savvy businessman with a reported net worth exceeding $1.2 billion. James has secured endorsement deals with major brands like Nike, Beats by Dre, and DraftKings and holds investments in Fenway Sports Group, making him a part-owner of the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool Football Club.

While much of the attention on James revolves around his on-court dominance, he recently highlighted an off-court business venture. On Thursday, James announced that his grooming brand, The Shop, which offers face wash, shave cream, and other products, is now available at CVS Pharmacy stores. Previously, the brand was exclusively sold at Walmart.

The Shop stems from his talk show of the same name, co-hosted with Maverick Carter, where they engage in conversations with influential figures from sports and culture.

James’ announcement comes as he remains sidelined due to a left groin strain, causing him to miss seven consecutive games, including Thursday night’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. His return timeline remains uncertain, but the Lakers have managed to stay competitive, initially struggling without him before securing three straight wins. As of Thursday, they hold the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.
