Mizzou has officially finalized the replacement for a key role, naming Kellie Harper as the new head coach of the women’s basketball program. The decision brings a seasoned leader with a winning track record to Columbia—one that fans are sure to embrace.

Harper, who previously coached at Tennessee, arrives with 20 years of head coaching experience and multiple NCAA Tournament appearances under her belt. She also has strong ties to the state of Missouri, having led Missouri State to a Sweet Sixteen run in 2019.

“Kellie is a proven winner and a dynamic leader who understands what it takes to compete at the highest level,” said Mizzou Athletic Director Laird Veatch. “Her experience in the SEC, recruiting ability, and championship mindset make her the perfect choice for this role.”
