Can the Michigan Wolverines keep the streak alive?

From the first week of the 2021 season onward, the Michigan Wolverines have amassed an incredible 41-3 overall record thanks to their outstanding play throughout the past three seasons. Michigan has won its last 16 games overall and its last 29 games in the regular season. The Wolverines also own the second-longest home winning streak in the country, with 23 straight victories (the longest since 1969–73 under Bo Schembechler and the third-longest streak in program history).

This weekend, when No. 3 Texas visits Ann Arbor for an amazing top 10 battle between the Wolverines and the Longhorns, that run of success will undoubtedly be put to the test. The Longhorns are presently classified as a 7-point favorite ahead of Saturday’s game, making the Wolverines the underdog at home for the first time since the 2021 season.

The game between No. 3 Texas and No. 10 Michigan begins at noon on FOX. In addition to the Big Noon Kickoff crew being in town for the clash between the top 10, Ann Arbor will also serve as the live broadcast location for ESPN’s College Gameday crew.
