Nadal Watches Real Madrid-Mallorca Match, Praises Mbappé and Full Real Madrid Team
Rafael Nadal and his father Sebastián were present at the Estadi Mallorca San Moix earlier today for RCD Mallorca’s 2024–25 La Liga opening, which concluded in a 1–1 draw against Real Madrid.
Before the game, our winner told Real Madrid TV that he was ready to get back to train in order to be ready for his next appearance at the Laver Cup in Berlin. He had taken a break after the Olympics. In response to a question regarding the match, Rafa tactfully complimented both sides, pointing up Real Madrid’s outstanding play in the previous season as well as their amazing form during the previous ten to fifteen years. He gave special praise to Bellingham, Rodrigo, Vinícius, Mbappé, who recently joined, and the whole team.
The ceremonial kickoff was taken by Spanish basketball great Rudy Fernández, who also made an appearance.
Rafa probably thought the draw was a good enough outcome considering his connections to both sides, even though Real Madrid extended their winning streak to 28 games in all competitions.
