Just In: Maple Leafs Sign A Versatile Forward Connor Dewar
Today, the Toronto Maple Leafs revealed that they have signed forward Connor Dewar to a one-year deal. A $1.18 million deal is what it’s worth.
Before being traded to Toronto, Dewar, who is 25, played 57 games for the Minnesota Wild last season and scored 10 goals and set up 4 others. Dewar played 17 games for the Maple Leafs and had five points (one goal and four assists). He also had one assist in six playoff games. The 183-pound, 5’10” forward has scored 19 goals and set up 24 others in 190 NHL regular season games, split between Minnesota and Toronto. He has also had one assist in 13 career playoff games.
Minnesota picked the man from Pas, Manitoba, in the third round (92nd overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
