In the All-Star Game, Team WNBA defeated Team USA once more, led by Clark and Reese.
Despite being longtime competitors in the NCAA and professional basketball, Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese stole the stage at the 2024 WNBA All-Star game when they teamed up for a stunning play that had the crowd going bonkers.
Before going to the Olympic Games in Paris, France, both players were representing the WNBA, and on Saturday, July 20, they delivered a mouthwatering performance against Team USA.
Angel Reese talks about how happy she is to be playing alongside Caitlin Clark.
At the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, Clark, an Indiana Fever player, was driving her team up the court while cutting corners left, right, and center. She then made a fantastic pass to Reese of the Chicago Sky.
The 22-year-old, who is renowned for her poise and competitive spirit, skillfully closed out the fourth quarter to assist Team WNBA in winning 117-109. She finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double.
Reese remarked, “It’s so cool,” regarding his play with Clark from the fever. “I’m sprinting after the ball when she gets it because I know she’s going to toss it.
“It’s been fun to play with her. I hope we can both be Olympians in four years.”
