Jannik Sinner revealed he battled dizziness and low energy during his Wimbledon quarter-final loss to Daniil Medvedev.
Despite winning a tough first-set tie-break, Sinner struggled, losing the second set and needing a medical time-out after falling behind in the third. He cited severe dizziness as a major issue during the match, which Medvedev won 6-7 (7-9) 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 2-6 6-3.
“Even this morning, I didn’t feel great and had some problems. The fatigue made it tough,” Sinner said. He credited Medvedev for playing smart tennis but explained that a physio advised him to take a break due to his poor condition. Sinner emphasized his determination to fight through his physical struggles, stating he never considered retiring from the match despite his symptoms.
