A versatile and top-100 wideout to visit Michigan football for recruiting

Another top-100 wideout to visit Michigan football for recruiting BBQ

Michigan football is hosting an elite 2025 wide receiver for the recruiting BBQ.

Fans of Michigan football, buckle up—there appears to be a lot more action on the recruiting path for the 2025 class.

Over the weekend, three-star wideout Phillip Wright committed to the Wolverines. Although the player is thrilling, the ranking may not be. Wright, who runs a sub-10.6 in the 100 meters, has some Roman Wilson and Semaj Morgan characteristics.

LSU pursued his pledge after a late date and may continue to recruit him until he formally signs with the Michigan football team. As I’ve previously stated, you’re doing something good if you’re attracting pledges over Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Florida, and other SEC programs.

With 16 pledges, Michigan football is now trying to increase that number. The end of July will see the recruitment BBQ for four-star wideout Andrew Marsh, who is ranked among the top 100 wideouts in the 2025 class by the 247 Sports composite rankings. He won’t be the only top-100 talent to attend.

According to Steve Wiltfong of On3.com, Jerome Myles, who recently decommitted from Ole Miss, is anticipated to be on campus for the Michigan football recruiting barbecue.

Nov 25, 2023; Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA; Michigan Wolverines wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy and interim head coach Sherrone Moore run up the sideline during the NCAA football game against the Ohio State Buckeyes at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan football welcomes another outstanding wide receiver.

Myles, who stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 205 pounds, is ranked 76th overall in the 2025 class by the 247 Sports composite rankings. Michigan has had success with players from the West, and he is no longer in Utah.

The On3 prediction machine has Utah as the current favorite. Myles paid an official visit to both Texas A&M and the Utes. But in his interview with Wiltfong, Myles identified three teams he was interested in: Michigan, LSU, and Penn State.

The four-star wide receiver added, “I’d feel pretty good about the Wolverines’ chances if that happens. Michigan football is pushing for an official visit in the fall.”
