Michigan State Football Adds Another Quarterback to Program

Michigan State and Coach Smith recently added an unranked player to their roster, hoping he will be a valuable addition. Although Aidan Chiles is set as the starting quarterback, Smith and his staff brought in another quarterback, Atticus Carridine.

Carridine, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound native of Ypsilanti, Michigan, graduated from Ypsilanti Community High School and joined Michigan State as a walk-on. Smith, a former walk-on quarterback himself, likely sees some of his younger self in Carridine. As Smith and his coaching staff work to rebuild Michigan State’s football program, they will need all the assistance they can get.
