Boston Bruins sign Alec Regula to one-year, two-way contract

Prior to the 2024–25 NHL season, the Boston Bruins have added another blueliner to their roster.

Boston announced on Friday that Alec Regula, 23, has signed a one-year, two-way contract with an NHL cap hit of $775,000, joining the team.

During the 2023–24 AHL season, the Michigan native made 55 appearances for the Providence Bruins, tallying four goals and 22 assists.

Regula has participated in 163 AHL games for the Providence and Rockford IceHogs in total, scoring 16 goals and dishing out 61 assists.

Regula has skated with the Chicago Blackhawks in 22 NHL games, recording one goal.
