In an interview with Craig Melvin on Monday’s Today show, the renowned athlete talked about his 19-year-old son Bronny James being chosen by the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA draft.
The 39-year-old father of three stated, “It’s the greatest accomplishment I’ve ever had in basketball.”
In light of his recent re-signing with the Lakers, he opened up about the feelings he had while playing on the same team as his kid, saying, “There’s no greater accomplishment that will be able to overtake me being on the same floor as my son.”
“It’s the best thing that’s ever happened,” he continued, emphasizing that his son’s selection was the result of Bronny having “done it all as an individual.”
