Elite wide receiver recruit Phillip Wright, a member of the class of 2025 known for his impressive speed, has identified Georgia, LSU, and Michigan as his top three schools. The 5-foot-11, 160-pound athlete from Destrehan High School in Louisiana plans to announce his college decision on July 13.
Though highly talented, it’s unlikely that Georgia will secure Wright’s commitment, as the Bulldogs already have commitments from four wide receivers in the 2025 class. Wright, a three-star recruit, is projected by 247Sports to choose the Michigan Wolverines.
Ranked as the No. 534 recruit nationally and the No. 31 athlete, Wright is also the No. 20 athlete in Louisiana. In June, he took official visits to Georgia, Baylor, Michigan, and Georgia Tech. He shared his commitment date via social media.
