Georgia Football Lands Top Recruiting Class After Final  Rankings Update

The Georgia Bulldogs have claimed the top spot in the 2024 recruiting class following the final 247Sports player rankings update.

The Bulldogs focused much of their recruiting efforts during the summer while gearing up for a historic 2023 season. The final update from 247Sports has solidified Georgia’s position as the number one recruiting class in 2024.

Kirby Smart and his staff have added a new five-star rating to their group, with four players now earning this prestigious recognition. Ellis Robinson IV, the nation’s second-best player and top cornerback, is a highlight, boasting a .9989 composite ranking, making him the fourth-highest-rated recruit to sign with Georgia.

Five-star safety KJ Bolden, ranked 15th nationally from Buford High School, has a .9951 composite ranking. Justin Williams, the nation’s best linebacker, holds a composite rank of .9960 and is tenth in the 2024 class. Chris Cole, initially a four-star prospect, now ranks as the country’s third-best linebacker after an impressive senior season, giving Georgia 16 five-star players in this class.

On the defensive line, four-stars Nasir Johnson and Joseph Jonah-Ajonye lead the group. Johnson ranks as the tenth-best defensive lineman in the class, while Jonah-Ajonye is the 11th-best. Other notable four-star defensive recruits include Jordan Thomas, Justin Greene, Demello Jones, Ondre Evans, and Kristopher Jones.

Offensively, Georgia’s line is bolstered by Daniel Calhoun, Michael Uni, Marques Easley, and Nyier Daniels, all highly ranked at their positions. Running backs Nate Frazier and Dwight Phillips Jr., quarterback Ryan Puglisi, tight end Jaden Reddell, and wide receiver NiTareon “Nitro” Tuggle round out the skill positions.

The Bulldogs also secured eight three-star recruits, including skill players Sacovie White, Chauncey Bowens, and Colton Heinrich. Offensive linemen Marcus Harrison and Malachi Toliver, along with defensive players Quintavious Johnson, Nnamdi Ogboko, and punter Drew Miller, complete the list.

Georgia’s exceptional recruiting class promises to play a crucial role in their future success, whether through immediate impact or developing talent for the years ahead.
