Four-star safety recruit Rashad Johnson is expected to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs, choosing them over the Penn State Nittany Lions, Louisville Cardinals, and Texas A&M Aggies. This prediction comes from Steve Wiltfong of On3, who also forecasted Georgia landing another four-star safety.

Johnson, part of the 2025 recruiting class, recently postponed his commitment date from July 1 to July 14. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety plays for South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Florida.

In addition to his role as a defensive back, Johnson also plays wide receiver. His highlights showcase his ball skills, athleticism, tight coverage, and strong tackling abilities.

Ranked as the No. 360 prospect nationally by On3, Johnson is the No. 49 recruit in Florida and the No. 33 safety in the country.

Currently, Georgia has no commitments from defensive backs in the 2025 class, but this is likely to change soon. The Bulldogs’ football team holds the third-ranked recruiting class in the nation, behind Alabama and Ohio State, with 17 commitments for the class of 2025.
