Los Angeles has added sharpshooter Dalton Knecht in the first round, a player James has previously praised. Additionally, the Lakers are quietly assembling a strong roster of undrafted players vying for spots. According to Draft Express’ Jon Chepkevich, they have also secured NC State big man Mohamed Diarra.
“NC State’s Mohamed Diarra has agreed to join the Los Angeles Lakers for NBA Summer League, I’ve been informed,” Chepkevich stated in a June 28 message on X. “The 6’10” French big man is a fierce rebounder, brings high energy to his game, and notably elevated his performance in March, crucial in fueling the Wolfpack’s ACC and NCAA Tournament campaigns.”
