Sam Hauser appeared to have a great time during the Celtics victory parade, although he may have overindulged a bit on the duck boats. The forward was caught on video vomiting into a cooler as the procession moved through Boston’s streets, and he shared additional details about the incident after the clip went viral.
“That cooler was full of beer,” Hauser mentioned during an interview on “Gojo and Golic.” “In the video, you can’t see my wife, but she was down on her hands and knees because I announced, ‘I’m about to throw up.’ She was trying to empty the beer out. There was still some beer left as I threw up. We ended up throwing those beers to the crowd, so whoever caught them, be careful.”
Hauser’s episode was just one of many memorable moments from the parade. Despite having a torn meniscus, Coach Joe Mazzulla was seen enthusiastically high-fiving fans and celebrating with his family on the duck boats. Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown, while enjoying himself, lost one of his rings during the festivities and is now offering a reward for its safe return.
Hauser’s first championship parade was unforgettable, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he took it a bit easier if he gets another chance to celebrate in the future.
