Caitlin Clark refuses to go easy on a young boy as WNBA rookie brutally blocks him during charity event
Caitlin Clark is a player who never fails to perform at the highest level, regardless of the opponent she faces.
On Tuesday, the player who was selected first overall in the draft was filmed forcefully blocking a young boy while he was shooting hoops at a charity event in Indiana.
The description that photographer Bri Lewerke added to a video that was uploaded to X said, “Counted about 5 total blocks in this 1-1 matchup today from @CaitlinClark22.”
During the community event that Gainbridge Sports planned in collaboration with Habitat for Humanity, the Fever star was seen in the video blocking the child in a humorous manner.
“That wasn’t fair,” the young boy said, and Clark responded with a grin, “That’s not fair?” in response to the young boy’s statement.

It happened one day after Clark had a low-scoring game during a loss to the Connecticut Sun
‘This is a squad you can’t come out and be lackadaisical against, they’re just that good,” she told reporters Monday night.
‘They’re going to punch you in the mouth, and I don’t believe we had it from the outset and obviously that’s a little frustrating,’ she went on.
‘I think we let tiny things on the offensive end upset us and we didn’t play solid defense … it’s not a recipe to win many games.’
Meanwhile, her coach Christie Sides justified the choice to yank her starters from the floor little over midway through the game.

Clark stated she thought the Fever ‘could have played with a lot better enthusiasm’
‘We were down 28 and I wanted to put a squad in there that would get out and play some defense,’ she explained.
‘I’m really happy of the bunch that went out there … they played hard,’ Sides continued, before publicly slamming the players over a perceived lack of effort.
‘I’m gonna start with how you can’t, at this level, coach effort,’ she added.
‘I felt like we were just trying to ask them to keep playing hard, play hard. You can’t start there. You can’t play in this league if you have to coach effort. It’s just too hard.’
