Angel Reese clashes with Naz Hillmon, The Atlanta Dream Star

Angel Reese clashes with Naz Hillmon as Chicago Sky lose to Atlanta Dream: ‘What the f*** is wrong with you?’

Angel Reese battled with Naz Hillmon after her Chicago Sky team fell 89-80 to Atlanta Dream in the WNBA on Saturday night – before being mocked by her competitors on social media.

After Hillmon knocked off Reese’s chance to shoot with the score 78-75 to Atlanta in the fourth quarter, the two stared each other down as the ball bounced out of play.

Reese, as she turned away, appeared to mouth ‘what the f*** is wrong with you’ and the incident was picked up on by viewers watching on television.

One uploaded to X and wrote: It’s getting steamy between Angel Reese and Naz Hillmon.’

Another commented: ‘Really amazing defense from Naz Hillmon. She and Angel Reese have been having a good tussle in the post today.’

Atlanta Dream even uploaded the clip twice on social media – with one uploading a clip from another viewpoint with the caption: ‘Naz Hillmon not having…!’

Then, depicting the aftermath with the incident, they wrote: ‘WE KNOW THAT’S RIGHT NAZ!’

Reese equal top-scored with 13 points but it wasn’t enough as her Sky side went to loss.

Reese was the top scorer with Kamilla Cardoso and Dana Evans, but Chennedy Carter struggled to rediscover her remarkable form in recent weeks with just four points from 15 minutes on the court.

She also became only the third player in WNBA history to have 10+ PTS, 10+ REB, and 5+ STL in back-to-back games, behind Erlana Larkins and Tamika Catchings.

‘Defense is what gets me psyched, gets me moving,’ Reese remarked after the game. ‘I adore getting steals. I definitely have space for improvement.

‘If scoring doesn’t get going, I’m going to bring toughness. I take satisfaction in rebounding.’

Reese wasn’t asked about her exchange with Hillmon in her post-game press conference.

The setback left Chicago Sky 4-6 for the season, while Atlanta Dream currently stand at 5-4. Sky return to action on Wednesday night against Connecticut Sun.
