Angel Reese wears custom pink Barbie-themed shoes in highly awaited WNBA showdown with Caitlin Clark as Chicago Sky face Indiana Fever

Against the Indiana Fever on Saturday, Chicago Sky player Angel Reese made her Reebok Solution shoe debut, patterned after Barbie.

Reese’s first-ever WNBA matchup against basketball sensation and college rival Caitlin Clark could not have come at a better time to display her bespoke kicks.

Previously known as “The Bayou Barbie” while attending LSU, Reese’s shoes were created and altered by Chicago-based designer Marvin Baroota of SoLegitCustoms.

The sneakers have a fading pink color scheme that gets deeper at the toes and lighter near the heel. The pink foundation is complemented by the white soles and laces.

The Barbie emblem and the character’s silhouette are featured on the left shoe. Conversely, the right shoe features the traditional “Barbie” lettering logo.
