Following Sinner’s rumored breakup with Maria Braccini, rumors regarding his romantic life became very popular in Italy. For the previous four years, the 22-year-old has been dating the model and social media star.

Though nothing solid came from the rumors connecting Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya to a possible romance, Sinner first saw Kalinskaya two weeks ago while recuperating from a hip injury in Turin.

However, things took a turn for the worse when Sinner and the Russian were spotted together at a dinner in Paris. This week, they will both compete in their separate singles draws at Roland Garros.

Prior to their first-round matches, they were also seen in practice, where they were happy and smiling. With the WTA World No. 25 watching from the stands, Sinner faced Christopher Eubanks in his opening match of the competition.

In his first encounter since the Madrid Open last month, the second seed showed well and defeated the big-serving American in straight sets. On his serve, he saved nine out of ten break points.

On Court 14, Kalinskaya is scheduled to face home favorite Clara Burel later on Monday. Sinner gave credence to the speculations following his first victory and told the media in his post-match press conference that he was dating the Moscow native, who is 25 years old.

When Sinner broke the news to Italian media during the second segment of his post-match press conference, he also requested privacy. He has said in the past that he would rather keep his personal affairs private and off social media.
